Goodbye Berlin
Tschick

Germany | 2016 | 93’ | DCP | Color | German | Group: C

Director: Fatih Akin

Critically acclaimed director Fatih Akin (Soul Kitchen) brings to the big screen a colorful and imaginative adaptation of the best-selling cult novel “Tschick”, a coming-of-age story of two friends taking the trip of a lifetime.

While his mother is in rehab and his father on a “business trip” with his assistant, Maik spends his time during the summer holidays alone by the pool of his parents’ villa. But then Tschick (portrayed by newcomer and Batbileg in his screen acting debut) appears. In fact, Tschick’s real name is Andrej Tschichatschow, and he comes from Berlin. He has a stolen Lada with him, and the two youngsters set off on an unforgettable road trip through provincial Germany.
